Despite seeing his string of six consecutive games of scoring double digits end, Noah Allen continues to lead the University of Hawaii men’s basketball team in scoring at 14.8 points.
The 6-foot-6 Allen, who transferred to Hawaii after graduating in three years from UCLA, also leads the Warriors in rebounds (6.6) and steals (1.5), and is second in assists (2.4).
Allen is averaging 31 minutes a game while shooting 45 percent from the field for Hawaii, who is 4-4. His scoring totals through eight games are more points than he compiled in three seasons coming off the bench for UCLA.
A four-year starter at Palma, Allen was a three-time member of The Herald’s All-County basketball team and the county’s Most Valuable Player in 2013.
