3. Salinas: Finishes 20-12 after falling to Carlmont in the Division I quarterfinals.
4. Monte Vista: Needed five sets to get past Carmel in the Division IV quarterfinals.
5. Carmel: May have played its best match of the year in falling in the DIV quarterfinals.
6. King City: Was ousted in five sets in the first round of the Division IV playoffs.
7. Notre Dame: Reigning two-time Division V champions are in the semifinals.
8. Alisal: Won its first round match before falling in the Division I quarterfinals.
9. Christopher: Knocked out in the first round of the Division II playoffs.
10. Monterey: A youthful team that improved throughout the season.
