No. 13 University-San Francisco (15-13) at No. 4 Notre Dame (21-12), 7 p.m.
 Don't sleep on University, the runner-ups in the North Coast Section Division V finals. There's no shame in falling to State Nor Cal DV top seed Head Royce.
 Despite losing four of their final five league matches, the Spirits bounced back, returning to the CCS DV finals for the fourth time in five years, before falling to undefeated Santa Catalina.
 Moving defensive specialist Mikeila Banda to the net has increased the Spirits production, creating more options for setter Spencer Hagenbuch.
 Keona Stopper is closing in on 200 kills this season for Notre Dame while Adeline Laughton has had more of a presence in the middle.
 Laughton has been a force on defense as well for the Spirits, leading the team in blocks, while Katie  DeSerpa has stepped up in the back row.
 Last year the Spirits reached the State Nor Cal DV finals, falling to state power Branson, who is no longer in Division V.
