Saturday morning thoughts

Dramatics: Stopping a two-point conversation with five minutes left preserves Soledad's 27-26 win over Gilroy in the CCS Division IV semifinals.
Most impressive: Opening the game with 26 points propels Palma to a 40-14 win over Live Oak in the Open Division III semifinals.
Heartbreaker: Rallying from a 14-point deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter, Seaside falls in the final two minutes 34-28 to Menlo in the DIV semifinals.
Nailbitter: After being dismantled 41-10 earlier this season by Merced, the Panthers fall 14-13 in the rematch in the Stadium 76 Bowl Game.
Individuals: Emilio Martinez rushes for 295 yards and five touchdowns for Palma. Robbie Santa Ana tosses a touchdown and rushes for one for Soledad. Keishawn Robinson chalks up 186 yards on the ground and two touchdowns for Seaside.
