Saturday morning thoughts

Dramatics: Using some second half magic and two defensive touchdowns from its defense, Seaside rallies to beat Stevenson 30-25 in the DIV playoffs.
Most impressive: Running off 42 unanswered points, the Chieftains crushed Saratoga in the Open Division III playoffs.
Disappointment: Giving up two defensive touchdowns in the first quarter, Salinas falls 21-10 to San Benito in the Open Division I playoffs.
Statement: No doubt the Aztecs made amends, avenging last year's playoff loss to Silver Creek with their first postseason win in the programs 18 year history.
Individuals: Emilio Martinez breaks a Palma school record with six rushing touchdowns. Robbie Santa Ana tosses three touchdowns for Soledad. Sophomore Gabriel Tulau has a pick six, three sacks and recovers a fumble in his first start for Seaside.
