Pajaro Valley-Alisal football

Friday's game
Pajaro Valley (2-6) at Alisal (1-8), 7:30 p.m.
The final four days of practice should feel good for the Trojans, who have a win under their belt, snapping an eight game losing streak.
While 1-8 is not misleading, Alisal held leads in four of those eight setbacks. This was an overhaul this fall in revamping the culture of the program.
One win goes a long ways in restoring the faith in what first year Alisal coach Cesar Chaidez has been preaching all season.
Since a two-game winning streak to close non-league play, the Grizzlies have dropped four straight Pacific Division games, stretching their league losing skid to 16.
Pajaro Valley has struggled defensively in league play, allowing 39.8 points a game. The offense has revolved around tailback Omar Murillo, who has rushed for over 100 yards six times.
The Trojans, who have never fallen to Pajaro Valley, are looking to snap a five-game home losing streak.
