1. San Benito: Has yet to drop a non-tournament match this season.
2. Santa Catalina: Opened a few eyes with its win over Salinas.
3. Monte Vista: Off to a 5-0 start, capturing 15 of 16 sets this fall.
4. Notre Dame: First six matches in a 5-1 start were at home.
5. Salinas: A program that will be a factor in November.
6. King City: Don't call the Mustangs overachievers.
7. Carmel: Still searching for the right combinations on the court.
8. Christopher: Would be a contender outside the Gabilan Division.
9. Monterey: Might be the most improved team in the area from last year.
10. North Salinas: Could be a sleeper this fall in the Pacific Division.
 On the bubble: Alvarez, Soledad, Watsonville, Gonzales.
