Reedley-Hartnell football

Saturday's game
Reedley (0-3) vs. Hartnell (2-1) at Rabobank, 6 p.m.
The momentum generated from closing last season by winning three of its final four games has not  carried over for Reedley this fall.
That one loss down the stretch last season was a 23-20 setback to conference rival Hartnell.
A missed extra point in the final three minutes was the difference last week in the Panthers 20-19 win over previously unbeaten Mendocino.
Trailing at the half, Hartnell rallied for 13 straight unanswered points, stretching its home winning streak to eight games.
Sophomore tailback Sherrod Hawkes, who missed all of last season with an injury, went over 100 yards rushing for the first time this year with a 128 yard effort.
The Panthers defense has carried the team in their two wins as Donyae Moody has been a sideline-to-sideline player, averaging over 10 tackles a game.
Two of Reedley's three losses have been by seven points or less, including last week's 26-22 loss to Redwoods.
Reedley has thrown for nearly 800 yards through the air while rushing for just over 200 yards. The Panthers have five interceptions as a unit this year.
Freshman J'uan Campbell has emerged as a receiving threat for Hartnell, as well as a dangerous kick returner.
