North Salinas volleyball

If you have watched the progression of the program, the Vikings have improved in the win column in each of the last three years.
Four wins shy of making it four straight, North Salinas has rattled off five consecutive wins, the most since 2011 -- the last time it made the postseason.
While re-establishing a foundation has been a process, those that have gone through the lean years are reaping the rewards.
North Salinas is one of two teams left in the Pacific Division undefeated. The other is Alisal, tonight's opponent in the first of two meetings this fall.
Behind Esme Nava and Teresa Ochoa, the Vikings have yet to lose a set in league as the dynamic duo have combined for over 100 kills this fall.
The two are getting more opportunities this fall because North Salinas has been crisp on defense at the net and back row.
Alisal does have the distinction of having beaten North Salinas this year in a three-set tournament match. Since then the Vikings are 6-1
