North County-Seaside football

Friday's game
North County (0-5) at Seaside (4-1), 7:30 p.m.
Maybe it's the return of the silver helmets. Or the fact that the Condors are playing 10 road games as their field is being renovated.
Because no team has produced less points this fall than North County, who has been held to just 51 points through five games.
Then again the Condors had produced just 46 points through five games last fall, with one significant difference. They had a win under their belt, ironically against Seaside.
The Spartans are a different team this year, having outscored opponents 129-30 in their three wins. The one loss was a two-point nailbitter.
The defense is bringing back memories of the past with its tenacious effort and physical behavior, allowing just 13 points in the second half this year.
Demarcus Hawkins is harassing quarterbacks with nine sacks while Daniel Sayre has returned three interceptions for touchdowns.
Tristian Beza has been a menace in the middle of that Seaside defense while Malik Jeter is a special player on that unit.
The Spartans offense is showing signs of its potential as Jeter completed 70 percent of his passes last week while Keishawn Robinson rushed for over 100 yards and three touchdowns.
