Based on records, these teams are going in the opposite direction. One more win and the Cougars will match their entire win total from last season.
Turnovers have been a thorn in North County's side, having committed four in last week's setback to Marina.
Joseph Barrios has been a bright spot for the Condors with over 200 receiving yards and 150 rushing yards -- 83 coming on a touchdown run last week.
Golden Valley has engaged in shootouts with its opponents, averaging 40 points a game this fall. But its average margin of victory has only been eight points.
A slow start is nothing new for the Condors, who started last fall 0-4, including a 29-7 loss to Golden Valley. Yet, last week's loss was a step back after an inspiring effort against Monte Vista.
North County's first half struggles, particularly offensively, continue as it has been outscored 45-8 in the first 24 minutes
