Fresno Christian-Trinity football

Saturday's game
Fresno Christian (4-1) vs. Trinity (3-1) at Monterey High, 2 p.m.
The Warriors have won three consecutive games, averaging over 50 points a game during the streak, including a season high 68, to climb to No. 22 in the state rankings in eight-man football.
Last week Caleb Hill tossed four more touchdown passes, giving the Trinity quarterback 14 through the teams first four games, with Jamez Booker and Devon Smith catching half of those.
Two weeks after beating the states No. 8 ranked team in Cate, Trinity rallied from a 14-point deficit last week to defeat previously undefeated Woodside Priory.
Fresno Pacific, who was 9-2 last year, has won four straight since a season opening loss to climb to No. 24 in the state rankings.
The Eagles have rushed for nearly 900 yards in five games, with quarterback  Tyler Villines having rushed for 280 yards and thrown for 598 yards and six touchdowns.
For as explosive as Trinity's offense has been in scoring 168 points in its last three games, its defense has held three opponents under 25 points in an offensive minded game.
Christopher Wright has been a menace in the middle for the Warriors while Eric Wright and Wyatt Hankard both have had big interceptions in the last two weeks.
