Danielle Pasquariello has made a decision on her college future -- even if it’s still two years off.
The Pacific Grove junior softball slugger has committed to play for nationally ranked Florida Atlantic University in 2018.
A member of The Herald’s All-County team last spring, the 6-foot first basemen had 46 hits last year for the Breakers. Pasquariello also drove in 28 runs and led the team in hits, multiple hit games, doubles, triples, homers and runs scored.
Last spring Florida Atlantic was one of two teams in the nation to win 50 plus games, finishing No. 22 in the nation. The other was No. 1 ranked Florida. The USA conference champions, the Owls reached the NCAA Regionals.
