Regarded as one of the most athletic players on the Salinas roster, Cerda showed off his potential in last year's CCS playoff game as a sophomore with 95 yards rushing against Palo Alto.
Cerda gives the Cowboys a much needed presence in the backfield this fall with his speed and vision. He could also start at one of the defensive back positions.
