The Santa Catalina freshman set a new career best in the pole vault at last weekend's Golden West Invitational, clearing 12-feet to finish third overall.
Wong, who shattered the Santa Catalina record earlier this year with a mark of 11-9, took part two weeks ago in the state track and field championships, clearing 11-6.
While the pole vault is Wong's specialty, she produced points in four different events to help the Cougars to their fourth straight Mission Trail Athletic League team title last month.
