Emilio Martinez

Unfortunately, we only caught glimpses of Martinez's talents in the backfield last year as a hamstring injury saddled him for a portion of the season for Palma.
When healthy, the senior lit up opponents with over 900 yards in just six games, including 328 yards in two playoff games. Martinez rushed for a Palma sophomore record 1,501 yards two years ago.

Emilio is ranked #30 and Dalman #16 in NorCalPreps.com 2016 preseason Northern CA Top 50 players (encompasses all Northern CA sections). Emilio averaged 9.2 yards a carry while he was taken out early in many of the games he played in addition to missing games due to an earler track injury. If he is healthy some Palma rushing records could be in jeopardy. Dalman is probably the most recruited player to ever come out of the Monterey Bay area. Emilio's recruiting has suffered at least early on due to last season, but has since picked up after The Opening and Stanford camps. There are a few Palma players that will probably play on somewhere after this season.
