Stevenson-ND Belmont softball

Central Coast Section Division III
Saturday's game
No. 11 Stevenson (19-7) vs. No. 3 Notre Dame-Belmont (18-6) at Hawes Field, Redwood City, 10 a.m.
As long as New Mexico bound Jensen Main is in the circle, don't discount the Pirates, who opened the playoffs with a 3-1 win over higher seed Live Oak.
Stevenson is 9-1 in its last 10 games, with the one setback being a 4-3 loss to Mission Trail Athletic League champion Carmel.
Main, a four-sport standout who has won all 19 games for Stevenson, also has 15 multiple hit games and has driven in 32 runs.
Stephanie Dalhamer has been clutch of late for the Pirates, coming up with a two-run double against Live Oak to break up a tie game. She's also driven in 20 runs.
Runner-ups in the West Catholic Athletic League to Mitty, the No. 3 seeded Tigers have two pitchers with earned run averages under 1.30, including Sofia Magnani.
Four players are hitting over .400 for the Tigers, who are hitting .320 as a team.
