Nic Clark is returning to the state meet in the 50 free and 100 free for Salinas while sophomore Henry Blaul becomes the first York swimmer to compete in the prestigious event.
Clark, who was 13th last year at the state finals in the 100 free in 46.22, will go into Friday's prelims in Clovis ranked 17th with a season best of 46.03.
The top 16 extend their seasons into Saturday.
The Monterey Bay League Gabilan Division champion will also compete in the 50 free, where Clark is ranked 15th in 21.03.
Blaul made a splash at the Central Coast Section finals, finishing second in the 100 breast and third in the 200 individual medley.
A Mission Trail Athletic League champion, Blaul is actually ranked higher in the 200 IM at No. 5 with a mark of 1:49.66. He has the ninth fastest time in the 100 breast (56.22).
