Palma-San Benito baseball

 This is more than a sequel. Or the rubber match of a three-game series.
 This is for the Gabilan Division title.
 Both teams have been on fire since facing each other back on April 14-15.
 Palma has not lost since falling to the Balers 2-1 in Hollister on April 14, having rattled off seven straight wins.
 San Benito has won six consecutive games since succumbing to the Chieftains 14-4 on April 15.
 All three of Palma's league losses this spring have come on the road, which is where this title bout will be.
 Dominic Scattini has continued to spray the ball around the field for Palma in the No. 2 spot, setting the table for the likes of Josh Zanger and Nick Gardoni.
 Either Zanger of Michael Gutierrez is expected to start against a Balers lineup that is averaging 7.2 runs a game during their current winning streak.
 San Benito has won nine of the last 10 league titles, with Palma interrupting its streak in 2013.
