Tough decisions for Mikayla Revera

The top ranked 100 meter sprinter in the Central Coast Section will not be competing Friday in the Top Eight Meet in Los Gatos.
Instead, Mikayla Revera will focus on the 200 and 400 -- two events in which the Santa Catalina sprinter went to the state meet in last year.
Yet, that doesn't mean the junior is eliminating the 100 from her resume this spring.
Don't be surprised to see Revera run all three at the Mission Trail Athletic League finals in three weeks, and take a stab at the rare triple at the section trials.
Will she attempt all three at the section finals?
Last year Revera had nothing left in her legs after qualifying for the state meet in the 400, coming back 15 minutes later and finishing eighth in the 100.
There's a reason few have attempted it. The 400 just takes so much out of you.
While Revera has run a section leading 12.14 in the 100, her mark of 56.23 in the 400 has her in the top 15 in the state. Her time in the 100 is ranked 30th.
