 What ever one team has done, the other has gone in the opposite direction.
 For instance, the Pirates have wins over Santa Catalina, Monterey and Soledad. Pacific Grove does not.
 Yet, the Breakers have victories over Seaside and Carmel. Stevenson does not.
 Perhaps the game to draw comparisons was the battle between the two Mission Trail Athletic League contenders, a 5-4 Pacific Grove decision on March 15.
 Sitting just a game behind Carmel and Santa Catalina, the two get reacquainted as the second half of league play heats up.
 A lot has changed for Stevenson, who was playing just its second game of the year when it faced the Breakers.
 What hasn't is the golden right arm of reigning MTAL co-Player of the Year Jensen Main. The New Mexico bound hurler is coming off a no-hitter on Tuesday.
 Main and Dominique Seva'aetasi lead the team in hits with 26 while Stephanie Dalhamer and Ellie Yamashita have provided productive bats all season.
 Danielle Pasquariello has been a hitting machine this spring for the Breakers, leading the team in  nearly every offensive category, driving in a team leading 18 runs.
 Lauren Coppla has sprayed the ball all over the field along with Christina Lucido and Diana Hughes, as Pacific Grove is averaging 11.2 runs a game in its last three wins.
