Watsonville-Alisal boy soccer

 The wait is over.
While this may not be the last meeting this season between the two Central Coast Section powers, a league title is on the line tonight at Alisal.
Having seen their run of three straight league titles stopped last year by Watsonville, the Trojans can take command of the Gabilan Divison with a win or a tie.
The two teams played to a 1-1 tie on Jan. 18. While both remain undefeated in league, the Wildcatz have one less win, having played to three ties in league.
Alisal has rattled off five straight wins since tying Watsonville, outscoring the opposition 14-1. Jorge Cerna and Adrian Serrato have combined for 21 goals this season.
Goalie Danny Lomeli has been sensational between the pipes for Alisal, whose only setbacks in 18 overall matches this year have come from defending D1 champ Bellarmine and De La Salle.
Alisal is 10-1-1 at home this year. The Wildcatz -- who are unbeaten in 40 regular season games, are 7-0-3 on the road.
