Sacred Heart Prep-Soledad girls soccer

An historic season continues for the Aztecs, who have rewritten every school record imaginable this winter.
Among the landmarks Soledad has achieved this year include a school record 18 wins, the programs first Mission Trail Athletic League title -- and its first postseason win on Wednesday.
Now Soledad gets another home game tonight, facing defending section champion Sacred Heart Prep of Atherton.
The Aztecs were seeded No. 2 in the Division II tournament while the Gators (13-5-2) were seeded No. 7.
Both teams opened the playoffs with 6-0 wins, with Belinda Ascencio producing four more goals for Soledad in its win over Summit Prep, giving her a school record 41 on the season.
The Aztecs have caught fire of late, outscoring their last four opponents 24-0. Defensively, the team has produced 13 shutouts and is undefeated at  home this year.
Sacred Heart Prep shared the West Bay Athletic League's Foothill Division with Menlo, shutting out Soquel in its postseason opener.
The Gators have won the last two section titles and are unbeaten in their last seven playoff games.
