MPC-Chabot men's hoops

 The fact that the Lobos are in the Northern California tournament is a tribute to those that remain on the hardwood.
 Injuries have riddled MPC down to five healthy players for tonight's battle with Chabot. The hope is that seven will suit up.
 Seaside High grads Kyle Hieb and Chris Evans have been instrumental during the Lobos five-game winning streak that catapulted them into the tournament.
 In fact, MPC (19-9) came within a three-point loss of having an eight-game winning streak.
 Deondre Otis has been the centerpiece to the Lobos offense all season while DJ Johnson has had a productive second half.
 The hope is Isaiah Clark will be able to play through a sprained ankle while Jazz Bajwa, who has missed the entire conference season, hopes to be cleared to play from a broken hand.
 The Gladiators (21-8) and MPC faced each other on Nov. 24, with the Lobos falling 88-82.
 The Lobos have to be aware of Keith Phillips, who torched them 25 points in that first meeting.
