King City-Seaside girls hoops

 This is a rematch of the season opener for both teams in which the Spartans prevailed 62-49.
 Seaside was undefeated this year against teams from the Mission Trail Athletic League, going 3-0.
 To take it a step further, the Spartans are 3-0 in the playoffs over the last four years against teams from the MTAL.
 King City is returning to the postseason after a two-year absence. Prior to that, it had made a record 33 straight playoff appearances.
 The Mustangs, who came within a point of gathering a share of the MTAL title, will look to regain the momentum that put them in that position in the first place.
 Seaside had a super start to the non-league season by winning its first seven games behind freshman sensation Jordan Olivares.
 Senior Marielle Tuazon has made an impact down the stretch for the Spartans, who humbled San Benito 42-21 in the season finale.
 These teams are polar opposites in how they play basketball. While just two seniors make up the King City roster, one of them is leading the team in scoring in Aly Carroll.
