Win your final two games and earn a share of the Mission Trail Athletic League.
Of course, the task had hand includes closing the season with the two teams in front of King City in Stevenson (tonight) and Carmel (Thursday) -- the only two teams to beat them in league play.
No one expected the Mustangs to be in this position this season. But they are, having put together two five game winning streaks in the MTAL.
Aly Carroll has been a double-double machine for the Mustangs, averaging a team high 11 points a game.
Sophomore Megan Flores have stepped up this year, dropping in eight points a game while freshman Grace Shepherd has been a nice surprise along with junior Madison Owens.
King City actually held a one-point halftime lead over Stevenson in its first battle before falling 65-58 on Jan. 22.
Either way, King City -- whose run of 33 straight playoff appearances ended in 2013 -- is going back to the postseason after a two-year absence.
