Carmel-Kings Academy boys hoops

The Padres are one of the hottest teams going into the playoffs, having rattled off eight straight wins, including a 25-point win over Oceana in their Division IV opener.
Four-year starter John Stivers is having another MVP type season for the Padres, averaging over 20 points and 12 rebounds a game.
Stivers has been to the free throw line 175 times this year, connecting on nearly 80 percent from the charity strip.
The Harvard bound tight end has had help in 6-foot-4 Dylan Riley, who has supplied Carmel with an outside presence as well, leading the team in 3-point goals.
King's Academy was third in the West Bay Athletic League behind CCS top seeds Sacred Heart Prep and Pinewood. Seeded No. 4, it's won five straight games.
