No one talked about the Condors being a threat in the Gabilan Division.
Incentive enough for the defending Pacific Division champions.
North County is 10-2 overall this year after opening the Gabilan Division season with a win over San Benito on Wednesday.
It's no secret that the offense runs through four-year starter Jordan Graves. The Condors are 8-0 with him in the lineup.
Yet, that means North County went 2-2 while Graves was out with an injury. In his absence, junior Jeremy Heitzman stepped up, averaging nearly 15 points and 12 rebounds a game.
It took some time for Monterey to find that chemistry on the court -- which included a 70-59 loss to the Condors in a tournament game in December.
Kobe Ordonio is averaging nearly 19 points a game for the Toreadores, while guard Jordan Eugenio is dropping in 13 points a night, while leading the team in assists.
