Hartnell- MPC men's hoops

 Both teams have a little momentum riding into their annual rivalry game tonight at MPC, as each is coming off an impressive win last week.
 For the Lobos, who sit two games off the lead in the Coast Conference, and are 13-8 overall, injuries left them with just eight healthy players last week..
 Hartnell, which surpassed last year's entire win total in December, is 10-8 overall and in the playoff hunt.
 The Panthers have continued to ride the efforts of freshman Riley Knowles, who is fifth in the state in scoring at just under 23 points a game. San Benito grad Hiram Miskin sits at 16.8.
 Sophomores Isaac Clark and DeOndre Otis have carried the Lobos attack with Clark averaging 17.2 points and Otis 16.8.
 Last week freshman DJ Johnson came up big with a 17 point effort, well above his season average of 3.6 for MPC.
 Seaside High grad's Chris Evans and Kyle Hieb have continued to contribute big minutes for MPC, with Hieb having started all 21 games this year.
 As a team, the Lobos are averaging 76.2 points a game.
