Greenfield-Carmel boy soccer

Has last year's five-game unbeaten streak to end the season carried over this winter for Carmel?
The Padres opened the Mission Trail Athletic League season with a win over Gonzales. Not it has a meeting with visiting Greenfield today, a perennial playoff team.
Dilyn Langdon has gotten off to a hot start for the Padres with three goals this season. Yet, it was Daniel Zito and Scott Tracy producing clutch goals in a 2-1 win over Gonzales.
Defense has been Carmel's strength this year as it has allowed just six goals in five overall games.
While sniper Salvador Oceguera is back for Greenfield, the offense has struggled. Greenfield is 1-0 when scoring two or more goals, 0-2-2 when producing one goal.
While they have outscored opponents 3-1 in the first half, the Bruins have allowed seven goals in the second half this year. Last year they allowed nine in the second half all season.
