Swimming sensations

Henry Blaul will be competing Thursday in the USA Swimming Junior Nationals in Austin, Texas after recording the fastest time in the nation for a 15-year-old in the 200 individual medley, clocking 1:51.30.
A member of the Seaside Dolphins, Blaul also qualified in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, where he is ranked No. 3 in the nation in his age class in both events, the 400 IM (ranked No. 4) and 100 backstroke.
Blaul has also qualified for the Speedo Sectional Championships on Dec. 18-21 in Los Angeles, earning a spot in the 200 free, 500 free, 1,000 free, 1,650 free, 100 back, the 100 and 200 breast and 200 and 400 IM.
Dolphins teammate Noah Gomes has qualified in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 100 butterfly while Parker Costa will compete in the 200 and 500 free’s.
Nick Sullivan will swim the 200 free and join teammates Iain Anderson, PJ Cieri and Jackson Klarsfeld in the 400 medley relay, 800 free relay and 400 free relay.
