This game is intriguing
Both teams have gotten out of the gates well with the defending Pacific Division champion Condors starting the year 5-0 before suffering a loss.
While losing reigning league MVP Jordan Graves was costly in North County's only loss of the year -- a one point decision to Christopher -- this team learned it can compete.
Graves is a difference maker, critical in North County's move to the Gabilan this year. The four-year starter is averaging over 17 points a game this season.
But the Condors are no longer a solo act, as 6-foot-6 Jeremy Heitzman gives them another option as the junior is averaging 13.8 points and 10 rebounds a game.
Pacific Grove had its full team intact for the first time all year last week. The offense, though, goes through reigning MTAL league MVP Brad Sendell.
Sendell was a teammate over the summer with Graves on Seaside's Finest.
The junior is averaging just under 17 points a game for the 3-1 Breakers. Jake Merenda has given the squad another perimeter shooter with seven 3-point goals in his first four games.
