Friday's game
Seaside (5-4) at Watsonville (2-6), 7:30 p.m.
With its bye week in the final week of the regular season, Seaside could be turning in uniforms early, depending on what transpires over the next two weeks.
Only two teams came out of the Pacific Division last year and Seaside already has setbacks to league rivals North Salinas and North County. It does have a win over an 'A' league opponent.
Keishawn Robinson became the first player from Seaside to rush for over 1,000 yards in five years. More will be needed against a hard-luck Watsonville squad.
Four of the Wildcatz's six losses have been by 10 points or less. This is a team that has struggled to put the ball in the end zone, having scored just six touchdowns in Pacific Division play.
Three of Seaside's four setbacks this year are to teams that are either undefeated in their league or are in the hunt for a league title.
