 In 10 wins this season, the Chieftains turned the ball over 11 times.
 Yet, in its two losses, Palma was guilty of seven turnovers.
 Four came in the second half of Friday's season ending 17-14 loss to Riordan.
 But what will linger into the off-season for the Chieftains is they squandered a 14 point lead.
 Just one of the four turnovers ultimately resulted in points. However, it changed the complexion of the game.
 You could argue that it was a 14-point swing, being that it came inside the 1-yard line.
 While the Chieftains were unbeatable outside the West Catholic Athletic League this year, they were winless against two WCAL teams.
 In fact, Palma has now lost six straight playoff games against teams in the WCAL.
 It's a hurdle that's not going away until they clear it.
