Alvarez has never beaten the Chieftains. But if it wants to throw its hat into the playoff ring, this is a must win.
Owners of four straight Gabilan Division titles, Palma is 22-1 since the Gabilan Division was formed four years ago.
The Chieftains may rest some starters nursing injuries in preparation for the playoffs. A win, though, ensures a high seed in the CCS Open Division III playoffs.
Jared Torculas needs 127 yards to reach 1000 on the ground for Palma while Liam McMillin has the most catches (30) by a Chieftain receiver in six years.
The Eagles put up some filthy numbers in producing 56 points last week as Alan Edwards rushed for nearly 300 yards and five touchdowns.
Alvarez has dropped five of its last six games at "The Eagles Nest.'
