Marcel Brinson

 Marcel Brinson put the uniform on for the final time as a collegiate football player, playing his last game on Saturday for Minot State University in North Dakota.

 The hard-hitting safety came into the game having already surpassed career highs in tackles with 70, and interceptions with three for 69 return yards.
 Brinson compiled 190 tackles in four years at Minot.
 A member of Palma’s last Central Coast Section title team in 2011, Brinson was a member of The Herald’s All-County football team.
