Say what you want about the Pirates schedule.
The bottom line is Stevenson is 3-0 for the third straight year.
Perhaps equally impressive are the numbers the Pirates are putting up, having outscored three teams 126-23.
Granted the three teams Stevenson has beaten are a combined 2-10.
So we really don't know how good this team is.
We're going to learn a lot more about them on Friday when the Pirates visit Carmel.
What we do know is quarterback Casey Mornhinweg has been sharp and accurate, throwing for over 650 yards and eight touchdowns, with one pick in 63 attempts.
If the name sounds familiar, that's because Mornhinweg's uncle is current Ravens quarterback coach Marty Mornhinweg.
Mornhinweg's ability to look off his first read has given the Pirates a formidable passing attack that has seen three different players catch touchdowns, including Will Lansbury.
Defense, though, is dictating the tempo for Stevenson. A unit anchored by Brennan Mornhinweg and Alexander Meredith, has allowed just two touchdowns all season.
