Friday's game
Soledad (2-1) at Pacific Grove (2-1), 7:30 p.m.
If I'm Soledad, I'm not watching any of last week's game tape of Pacific Grove.
Last year the Breakers came off a loss to Hilmar and revamped their offense before facing Soledad in a 27-6 win.
I don't see drastic measures this time. I also don't put much into the loss. Pacific Grove's only regular season setback last year came from Hilmar, a power in the SAC Joaquin Section.
The Breakers defense will need a rush to contain quarterback Eric Martinez, who accounted for four touchdowns last week for Soledad -- three threw the air.
James Donlon, who recorded 12 sacks last fall, will provide a rush along with Robert Wilkerson and Foster Smith.
Soledad can expect a heavy dose of tailback Uche Ebo, who has two 100 plus yard rushing games. In fact, Pacific Grove is unbeaten when the senior goes over 100 yards.
Andrew Hernandez has created havoc defensively for the Aztecs this season with five sacks and an 85 yard fumble return for a touchdown.
