Friday's game
Pacific Grove (3-1)) vs. Marina (2-2) at MPC, 7:30 p.m.
 Dating back to 2013, the Breakers are 24-3 against teams in the Central Coast Section. Two of those losses have come in the postseason.
 Last week the defense didn't allow a point, using a Sam Fenstermaker interception for a touchdown to make it eight straight Mission Trail Athletic League wins.
 Marina's defense produced two touchdowns last week against King City, giving them a brief lead in the fourth quarter before faltering.
 The Mariners, who have yet to play a road game, are 2-1 in games played at MPC. EJ Jennings has  produced touchdowns four different ways for Marina.
 I'm not sure who you focus on when preparing for Pacific Grove. Four different players have taken turns running the ball, with each having rushed for two or more touchdowns.
 A far cry from the previous two years when the Breakers attack centered around one or two players. Three different players have also caught touchdowns, including Noah Cryns.
