Greenfield-Carmel football

Saturday's game
Greenfield (1-5) at Carmel (4-2), 2 p.m.
It's hard to ignore the offensive numbers the Padres have put up, having produced 55 or more points in three of their last four games.
Two of those games had running clocks in the fourth quarter.
While the offense awaits the return of tailback Covossay Windham from an injury, Eddie Osornio and Seiji Cole have filled in nicely.
Quarterback Jonathan Hugo has quietly thrown for over 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns, with John Stivers and Osornio his favorite targets in the end zone.
Defensively, Carmel's defense has allowed just 15 points in the last two games while recording eight turnovers. Rostin Ahmadi has compiled five sacks.
The Bruins have struggled in the second half in their five losses, having been outscored 81-18. Last week they gave up five touchdowns of 30 yards or longer.
Anthony Leon was a bright spot last week for Greenfield with 145 yard rushing effort, the second time he has rushed for over 100 yards.
