Saturday's game
Gilroy (2-5) at North County (3-4), 2 p.m.
Saturday's have not been fulfilling for the Condors this fall as they are 0-3. That has to change if this program has aspirations of challenging for their first league title in 12 years.
Coming off a season high 31 point outburst, North County is one of two teams still undefeated in the Pacific Division, making that 0-4 non-league start a distant memory.
Jordan Graves has provided a spark at quarterback for the Condors while Chris Munguia and Bobby Tovar have given the ground game life.
Defensively, North County was on a different planet last week in creating seven turnovers. Gabriel Barajas intercepted two passes, returning one for a pick six.
The first quarter has been a thorn in Gilroy's side all season as it has been outscored 76-13. Like a lot of schools, the numbers are down for the Mustangs this fall.
The Mustangs have dropped three straight and are winless on the road this season. These two teams faced each other in a scrimmage at Carmel in August.
