Stevenson-St. Francis Catholic football

Saturday's game
Stevenson (1-0) at St. Francis Catholic (1-2), 2 p.m.
The Mission Trail Athletic League tour continues for the Sharks, who play an independent schedule as they attempt to rebuild their program.
The 47 points Stevenson put up in the first half last week in its opener was more points than any full game it played last year.
Quarterback Casey Mornhinweg was sharp, completing 11-of-13 passes -- four for touchdowns, with Will Lansbury on the receiving end of three of those touchdowns.
Stevenson had more points (54) than plays run (35) last week.
The Sharks have produced 45 points all season, and have not scored a touchdown in their last five quarters. Richie Martinez went over 100 yards rushing two weeks ago against Marina.
A concern for Stevenson would be giving up big plays. While it only allowed two touchdowns last week, one was 70 yards and the other 85.
