Friday's game
Stevenson (2-0) at Greenfield (1-2), 7:30 p.m.
A rare night game for the unbeaten Pirates, who will play just two all fall. Over the last two seasons, Stevenson is 4-2 playing on Friday night.
Greenfield's last four wins dating back to 2012 have all come at home, including its last two home games.
While the Bruins have dropped their last two games, they've actually outscored the opposition 20-7 in the first quarter. Greenfield has lead in all three games this year.
Stevenson has produced 92 points in two games. Yet, it's a defense anchored by Alexander Meredith that has shut down opponents, having not allowed a point in its last seven quarters.
Offensively, the Pirates are running a more up tempo attack with Casey Mornhinweg having thrown for 438 yards and five touchdowns -- three to Will Lansbury.
After fumbling the ball 11 times in Week 2, the Bruins took better care of the ball in last week's loss at Alisal, with Hector Ramirez and Geraldo Salas rushing for touchdowns.
Both teams have home wins over St. Francis Catholic
