Notre Dame-Santa Catalina volleyball

Tonight's game
Notre Dame (6-0) at Santa Catalina (2-0), 6:30 p.m.
 This match intrigues me.
 No doubt, the Cougars will have their hands full tonight in slowing down Notre Dame's arsenal of weapons at the net, including Kate Lathos and Nikki DeSerpa.
 Yet, how will a Santa Catalina team that has three sophomores in the starting lineup respond against the defending Central Coast Section Division V champion Spirits.
 I think we can all agree that Notre Dame is a team to watch, having swept five of the first six teams it has faced this year.
 What Santa Catalina does well is it defends. It picks up loose balls, keeps rallies alive and finds ways to manufacture points behind four year starter Tatumn Satow.
 These teams are in different leagues for a reason. But that's not to suggest Santa Catalina can't battle with the Spirits.
