The former Palma strong safety begins his senior season for Division II Minot State in Minnesota on Thursday when the team opens against Southwest Minnesota State.
In three seasons for the Beavers, the 5-foot-11 Brinson has played in 32 games, having recorded 113 tackles -- including 43 last season.
Brinson, a member of Palma's last CCS title team, has recorded one sack, forced four fumbles and recovered one.
