6. Pacific Grove: The second half looked more like the defending MTAL champs.
7. North Salinas: Opened some eyes with its win over Alvarez.
8. Monte Vista: Going to Texas this week to face Trinity.
9. Alvarez: How will the Eagles respond after being stunned in opener?
10. Monterey: I anticipate more carries for Akili Jones this week.

Yes we do. They lost 2 out of the next 3 games. Then they got lucky that Hollister was able to beat Palma and was rewarded for Hollisters efforts as Co champions. Luckily this year they dont have that tough of a non league schedule.
