 The second of three straight home games for Alvarez, four of its last six losses dating back to 2013 have come at 'The Eagles Nest.'

 Turnovers were a throne in the Eagles side in last week's loss as two of them turned into touchdowns -- ultimately the difference in a 29-15 loss.
 Over the last two years, Alvarez had fumbled the ball away just six times.
 Alisal was even with Santa Clara last week for 24 minutes before it was outscored 27-7 in the second half. It hadn't given up 40 or more points in a game since falling last fall to Alvarez 49-6 in Week 2.
 Better decisions offensively will ignite the Eagles offense. There's too much firepower for them to be held to just 15 points. Alan Camel-Edwards is special in the open field.
 The Trojans are trying to avoid their third straight 0-2 start while Alvarez hasn't started 0-2 in three years. However, Alisal's only league title came after losing its first two games.
