Jamborees or scrimmages?

I guess it depends on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for.
Jamborees tend to bring out bigger crowds, providing a little more emotion, giving you that game type feeling.
Scrimmages are often done in the afternoon in front of a sprinkling of spectators, usually in practice jerseys.
The objective, however, is the same.
It's an opportunity for coaches to get a look at a lot of players in game simulated conditions before the games count next week.
There's always a player or two that coaches didn't notice in practice that streaks to the forefront.
The reality is no coach is going to showcase their arsenal of plays. Players will be shuttled in an out based on a number of plays.
Sometimes these events can be misleading to the naked eye.
But it is a different helmet a player is eying on the opposite site.
After two weeks of hitting each other, an opponent is a welcome site.
