1. San Benito: Nine league titles in 10 years and 20 or more wins 11 straight years.
2. Carmel: Was six outs away from a Central Coast Section D2 title.
3. Monterey: Pitching was as good as any team in the section this year.
5. Soledad: Compiled the second highest win total in school history in sharing the MTAL title.
6. Pacific Grove: Big upside for a program that challenges for supremacy each year.
7. Watsonville: I don't see the Wildcatz getting bumped up into the Gabilan Division next spring
8. North Salinas: The two-time Pacific Division champions could be ticketed to the Gabilan.
9. Palma: After a promising 10-5 start to the season, Palma was 4-9 down the stretch.
10. Salinas: Never fully recovered from an assortment of injuries throughout the season.
On the bubble: Monte Vista, King City, Gilroy, Alisal, North County.

Watsonville is moving to Gabilan div. next year over North Salinas because of this years head to head results.
