Trinity-Stevenson softball

 It's a play-in game with meaning.
The team that doesn't come out on top likely doesn't have enough points to qualify for the Central Coast Section playoffs.
For Coastal Athletic League champion Trinity and Stevenson, the playoffs are starting a few days early when the two teams meet today at MPC.
Trinity coasted to a 10-0 record in the CAL behind sluggers Jordyn Palma and Alexandra Paquin.
But it is winless outside the CAL at 0-4, including a 10-1 loss to the Pirates back on March 21 in a tournament.
Stevenson is powered by Dominique Seva'aetasi, who has 11 home runs this year, and Jensen Main, who has eight homers and a team high 21 runs batted in.
Main is coming off her first shutout of the season, enabling Stevenson to earn the No. 3 spot out of the Mission Trail Athletic League.
